Job Overview Development of probabilistic flood hazard models for different countries Roles and Responsibilities Manage the collection and analysis of hydrological data using automation, to integrate the high quality data into the modeling process Develop computer programs to automate data capture and post processing of model results Working with various modules of the flood hazard models. Qualifications Education Qualification: Masters in Water Resources Engineering in Hydrology / Hydraulics or related fields Total Experience: 2-4 years Must-Have skills: Strong fundamentals in stochastic and catchment hydrology and open channel flow Working with hydrologic modeling in a probabilistic framework (Monte-Carlo simulations) Experience in working with the existing hydrologic and hydraulic models, e.g., HEC series models Implement hydrologic and hydraulic models over a wide range of spatial scales Experience in working with GIS applications preferably ARCGIS Strong programming skills in R statistical language / Python / MATLAB and C++ /C# Good communication and presentation skills Desirable Skill Set Required (Add-on) Basic knowledge of probability theory and statistics Has experience/ knowledge of flood inundation modelling approaches Basic knowledge in SQL,

Job Summary: The Crop Monitor Analyst will oversee real-time monitoring of crop health and environmental conditions using agritech devices such as satellite imaging, drones, and soil sensors. This role requires strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve farm management practices. Crop Monitoring & Data Collection Utilize satellite imagery, drones, and IoT-based sensors to monitor crop growth and health. Continuously track parameters like soil moisture, temperature, and plant health. Analyze data collected from agritech devices to identify trends and anomalies.Detect issues such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and recommend solutions. Utilize GIS tools and remote sensing technologies for precision agriculture analysis. Assess soil moisture levels using sensor data to optimize irrigation schedules.Work closely with the farm management team to ensure efficient water usage. Operate and oversee the use of drones for crop surveillance and application of fertilizers/pesticides. Develop predictive models for crop yield estimation based on historical and real-time data. Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to share insights with farm managers. Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., Python, R, Excel, GIS applications). Understanding of soil science, plant health, and environmental factors affecting crops. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
