Role Overview: As a member of our leading catering network, your role as a Cook will be crucial in ensuring that all food leaving the kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will be responsible for preparing orders promptly and accurately while following menu specifications diligently. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area will contribute to the overall success of our team. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your knowledge of a la carte cooking, meat temperatures, and presentation techniques to create dishes that meet menu standards. - Prepare orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring that all food leaves the kitchen in peak condition. - Assist in meal service preparation by making sauces, soups, and other items as needed for the daily menu. - Follow standard food preparation techniques to prep food products and maintain consistency in quality. - Store all food properly in designated containers and at appropriate temperatures, following rotation guidelines to minimize waste. - Collaborate with other kitchen departments to prepare necessary food items and ensure a smooth transition between shifts. - Keep your work area clean and sanitary, following health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment. - Take on a leadership role in the absence of the Supervisor by assigning tasks and overseeing the performance of assigned employees. - Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, and report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management promptly. Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary school background is a plus. - Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience as a line cook and six (6) months as a pantry/prep cook, or an equivalent combination of experience and skills.,
