Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager (ABM)

Job Objective: To support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Ayurvedic hospital, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, high-quality patient service, and adherence to Ayurvedic principles and protocols.
The ABM plays a key role in maintaining service standards, supporting business development, and managing team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
Assist in daily operations of the hospital, including front desk, OPD/IPD, pharmacy, Panchakarma, and wellness departments. Ensure cleanliness, readiness, and functionality of the hospital infrastructure.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for Ayurvedic medicines and consumables.
2. Patient Services:
Supervise patient experience from registration to discharge.
Ensure proper communication of treatment plans and Ayurvedic protocols to patients.
Handle patient queries and grievances efficiently and empathetically.
3. Team Coordination:
Assist in staff scheduling, attendance, and shift planning.
Coordinate among doctors, therapists, nursing staff, housekeeping, and support teams. Conduct daily briefing and debriefing meetings for operational alignment.
4. Administrative Support:
Support Branch Manager in documentation, audits, licenses, and compliance as per healthcare regulations.
Maintain accurate records of patient data, treatment history, and staff performance.
5. Sales & Business Development:
Support in achieving monthly patient footfall and revenue targets.
Promote hospital services, Ayurvedic packages, seasonal therapies, and wellness programs. Assist in executing marketing activities such as camps, talks, and wellness drives.
6. Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations, revenue, and staff productivity. Share insights on service improvement, patient satisfaction, and workflow enhancement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Ayurveda, Business Administration, or related fields. PGDHM or MBA (preferred, but not mandatory).
Experience:
2-5 years in a supervisory or operational role, preferably in an Ayurvedic or healthcare setting.
Skills:
Strong leadership and coordination skills.
Excellent communication (English, Hindi/local language).
Good understanding of Ayurvedic treatment flow and patient care models.
Working knowledge of MS Office, hospital management software.
