Job Title: Assistant Manager – Statutory Audit Location: Dehradun Department: Statutory Audit Reports to: Director / Manager – Statutory Audit 2 Associates - 0-3 Years 1 Manager / AM - 3-6 Years 8 Articles - CA Inter Qualified (Both Groups) Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and finalize statutory audit engagements in accordance with Indian Accounting and Auditing Standards (Ind-AS/IGAAP). Lead audit teams on field assignments and ensure timely completion within budgeted timelines. Review working papers, audit reports, and financial statements for accuracy and compliance. Liaise with clients to ensure smooth flow of information and address audit issues. Supervise, train, and mentor team members and conduct performance evaluations. Maintain strong client relationships and identify potential areas for business development. Stay updated with changes in accounting/auditing standards, laws, and regulations. Coordinate with internal teams such as Tax, Risk Advisory, etc. when required. Qualification & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit. Prior experience in a reputed CA firm or Big 4 is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as Tally, CaseWare, or audit tools.
