Assistant Area Sales Manager - Automotive (Remote - Pune)

We have been retained by a professionally managed organisation to recruit Assistant Area Sales Manager- Automotive for them. Working Location: Pune No Office its Remote Work, Role & responsibilities Responsibility To ensure profitable growth in identified key accounts of the region & promote entire range of products offered by the company in these key accounts. To serve the key accounts by offering on field & off the field solutions & ensure customer satisfaction level. Tasks and Responsibilities Describe the tasks and responsibilities in more detail. Use bullet points. • Responsible for Sales Growth (Achieve Sales Target) and Profitability (Achieve Profit Target). • Project Focus: Generate and convert projects for key target customers. Manage project cycle and velocity. • Pursue sales leads, visit existing and new strategic customers with the focus being Total Customer Satisfaction and Generation of Projects for Sales Growth. • Build customer relationships and strategic partnerships, assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services; respond to complex customer inquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times, and win sales orders to meet sales targets. Identify, research, and contact prospective target growth customers that will generate future sales and repeat business. • Develop short and long-term strategic sales plans for key customers, growth customers and global key accounts, utilizing Sales Excellence Tools. • Ensure full compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures including Quality Manual and Quality Procedures. Handling Quality issues. AR collections. Learn and utilize internal processes Develop and implement procedures to ensure that customer projects, quotations and orders are processed efficiently, documented correctly and in a timely manner. Need to travel PAN India and frequent visit on regular basis. Preferred candidate profile 7 to 8 years Experience in Automotive/Seals/ Hydraulic/Bearings Industries. • Mechanical / Automobile Engineering Graduate Strong technical aptitude beneficial. Must be mechanically inclined. Must be able to read and understand technical prints • Experience in sealing technology and related knowledge of materials like PTFE, Elastomers is an advantage Knowledge of rubber/plastic, products is expected Familiarity with ISO /TS /PPAP/Audit quality requirements is beneficial • Experience in Sales/Key Accounts Management/Technical Sales If you are interested in the above opportunity, kindly share your updated resume with me.
