Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Sales Revenue & Customer Handling, Collection & New Business Development, Controlling Wastages & Stock Management

Preferred candidate profile

1. Achieving the sales, collection and profitability targets for the geography defined.

It includes:
a. Targeted sales at customer category at targeted trade terms b. Forging relationship with the trade c. Managing the key costs heads Manpower, Material delivery costs, Vehicle repair & maintenance, Material damages & other administrative costs

2. Budgeting for the business Sales,Travel,Collection,manpower & expense budgeting

a. Monthly, weekly and daily planning for sales, collection, expenses, actions plans to support the business plan and travel plan for the team
b. Periodic review to check the progress against the plan Weekly & monthly c. Periodic review of the credit worthiness of the trade d. Competition mapping & providing strategic inputs for business growth

3. Smooth functioning of the operations of the business

a. 5S in depots
b. Storage, stacking and safety of stock c. Demand forecasting ,Inventory planning & rationalization and integrity of stock d. Delivery cost optimization through regular monitoring and adopting route optimization.

4. Team management Staff & workers

a. Training & mentoring of the operational team on the SOPs & Daily work management
b. Ensuring work force discipline & attendance c. Ensuring attrition as per the targets d. Performance review of the team

5. Ensuring customer satisfaction within the trade channel

a. Order fill rates & timeliness to deliver
b. Timely resolution of the customer issues

6. Responsible for Collection & New business development New geographies & evaluating the new product development need :
a. Responsible for Timely realization of the credit from the market b. Responsible for expanding customer base in designated territories for different product lines like Glass, Adhesives & Wiper 3. Conceptualization of the business promotion & brand building activities and its implementation

7. Responsible for Controlling Wastages & Stock Managemenr:
a. Responsible for Control various expenses like Fuel & freight, repair & maintenance, outward breakage, etc. b. Responsible for replenishing stock in depot to serve the market demand.

8. Responsible for depot related operations It includes
1. Adherence to Depot SOPs related to warehouse & logistics 2. Responsible for stock upkeep & Inwarding & Outward of material 3. Planning the logistics of the deliveries for customers 4. Manage 5's 5. Discipline and attendance regularities of non-management staff 6. Responsible for proper storage and breakage of glasses 7. Responsible for Staff welfare, overtime, depot running expenses etc. 8. Responsible for fitness & upkeep of delivery vehicle

9. Timely preparation and publishing of the MIS of the business

a. Sales, collection, expenses, transportation & stock losses, expenses & profitability of the depots
b. Transaction related reports c. Ensuring implementation and compliances to the standard operating procedures for the business functioning
