Job Description

1. Administrative Support

  • Assist the Administrative Officer/Principal in day-to-day school administration.
  • Manage office operations, documentation, and internal communication.
  • Maintain records such as attendance, staff files, student data, and circulars.

2. Admission & Student Support

  • Support the admission process including enquiry handling, counselling parents, and documentation.
  • Assist in student onboarding, ID card preparation, certificates, and maintaining admission registers.

3. HR & Staff Coordination

  • Help in maintaining staff attendance, leave records, and duty allocation.
  • Coordinate with departments for schedules, meeting arrangements, and staff communication.
  • Assist in recruitment-related tasks such as scheduling interviews and collecting documents.

4. Finance & Inventory Assistance

  • Support fee collection, reconciliation, and coordination with accounts department.
  • Maintain registers for school assets, stationery, uniforms, and consumables.
  • Assist in procurement by collecting quotations and preparing comparisons.

5. Operations & Facility Management

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, transport, security, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure classrooms, labs, and common areas are well maintained.
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up for timely resolution.

6. Event & Activity Coordination

  • Assist in organizing school events, assemblies, competitions, and parent meetings.
  • Prepare event schedules, notices, and logistical arrangements.

7. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure documentation for audits, inspections, and statutory compliance.
  • Support implementation of safety protocols, visitor management, fire drills, etc.

8. Communication & Customer Relation

  • Handle parent queries politely and professionally.
  • Draft notices, circulars, and emails for internal and external communication.
  • Maintain good public relations with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, Commerce, Education, or any relevant field.
  • A Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM in HR or Administration) is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school ERP software.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of regional language preferred.
  • Good understanding of school operations, documentation, and compliance.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in administrative or office management roles, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Experience handling admissions, student records, office coordination, and parent communication.
  • Prior exposure to HR support functions, such as attendance, leave management, and staff documentation.
  • Experience in managing vendors, procurement, and inventories is preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments such as transport, housekeeping, accounts, and academics.
  • Experience in organizing school events, parent meetings, and compliance documentation is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
