Job Description

Location:

Assistant Manager Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

GST Filing & Compliance

Handle end-to-end GST filing, including monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
Must have exposure to managing GST filings amounting to
700 Crores or more
.
Ensure compliance with GST laws, reconciliations, and timely submissions.

Billing & Invoice Processing

Process billing for raw materials, transportation, and related services.
Manage MSME vendor invoice processing in line with the Government Act.
Verify and validate supporting documents for accuracy before processing.

Accounts Payable Management

Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, including vendor reconciliation and payment scheduling.
Ensure timely vendor payments and address any discrepancies or escalations.
Maintain accurate records and follow internal controls for AP operations.

Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with vendors, procurement, logistics, and internal teams for smooth financial operations.
Maintain up-to-date records, documentation, and reports related to GST, AP, and billing.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
6–10 years of experience
in accounts, preferably in a
chemical manufacturing company
.
Strong knowledge of GST regulations, high-value GST filing (700 Cr+), and accounts payable processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates
from Bharuch or nearby locations
will be given preference.
Experience in
chemical or process manufacturing industries
is added advantage.
