Job Description

We seek an experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to manage accounting, taxation, banking, statutory filings, reconciliations, and compliance.
The candidate must be proficient in Tally and capable of handling end-to-end accounting independently with accuracy and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Handle all tax-related work including Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory filings.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of income tax returns, GST returns, TDS returns, and other compliance-related reports.
Maintain and update accounts in Tally and prepare periodic MIS reports for management.
Manage EDPMS/IDPMS filings for imports and exports and ensure compliance with RBI and FEMA guidelines.
Coordinate with banks for LC, BG, remittances, loan documentation, reconciliations, and other financial requirements.
Conduct vendor and customer account reconciliations regularly and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure proper maintenance of supporting documents, vouchers, and audit schedules.
Assist in internal and statutory audits by preparing required data and liaising with auditors.
Implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support the Accounts Manager/Finance Head in financial planning, reporting, and budget preparation.
