Job Description

Work experience in Virtual Build validation, Time study, Torque Audit, Build Book creation

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in the required technical skillset
Implement process/tool/equipment modifications to support Engineering and Process Change requests for Engine, Battery, Chargers, Motors, and Locomotive Assembly
Create/update manufacturing process documents: PFD, PFMEA, Safety FMEA, Control Plan, Standard Work, and SOPs
Configure and update Standard Work and Torque tools in Manufacturing Execution Systems (PINpoint / CAPP+ / MESA)
Create/update process routing in SAP (CBS)
Conduct Engine/Loco Assembly/Disassembly process audits; resolve audit findings in coordination with cross-functional teams
Conduct ergonomic studies for engine assembly, identify gaps, and implement solutions to eliminate ergonomic risks
Support continuous improvement by executing suggestions from cross-functional teams

Education Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required to Succeed in This Job

Strong knowledge of assembly processes
Proficiency in Virtual Build validation, Time study, Torque Audit, Build Book creation, and Teamcenter Vismockup
