ASP.NET Programmer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled ASP.NET Programmer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. The ideal candidate should be capable of building efficient, scalable, and secure applications, working closely with the design and database teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy web applications using ASP.NET (MVC/Core) and C#
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UI designers to integrate user-facing elements
• Work with SQL Server for database design, queries, and stored procedures
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
• Stay updated with the latest .NET technologies and development practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET (MVC/Core) and C#
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Proficiency in SQL Server / MySQL and database programming
• Understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts
• Familiarity with Entity Framework or ADO.NET
• Basic knowledge of API development and integration (REST/SOAP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with .NET Core, Web API
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
