The IT Solution Designer - CMS & Web Technologies is a strategic role within Ferrero s global Center of Excellence for Consumer Technology. The position exists to conceptualize, design, and support the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing IT solutions across a web platform hosting over 300 websites. It serves as a bridge between international business units and technical teams, translating business requirements into architectural solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

The role is responsible for:

• Designing and evolving digital services and web platforms.


• Ensuring compliance with architectural guidelines, service level targets, and IT standards.


• Managing platform upgrades and supporting service quality improvements.


• Providing 3rd level support and conducting technical analysis and pilot projects.

Its objectives include enhancing consumer engagement and data platforms, driving innovation, and maintaining operational excellence through collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement.

  Ensuring that IT procedures, guidelines and standards for regular project operations such as testing, monitoring, cyber security, documentation and handover to 1st & 2nd level support teams are performed and maintained.

  Performing 3rd level support for productive applications in collaboration with 2nd level support teams.



• 
  

  Performing technical analysis and code reviews and managing pilot projects in web technology, consumer engagement and consumer data platforms.



• 
  

  Managing major and minor upgrades of the global platforms, coordinating stakeholders and working with Ferrero Service Management to support compliance with service level targets and continuous improvement of service quality.



• 
  

  Working closely with development teams, vendors and third-party partners to ensure proper implementation and adherence to architectural standards and guidelines.



• Supporting architecture design, implementation and country rollouts and the evolution of our digital services and web platform; considering scalability, data integrity, security and performance

EDUCATION

Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE

• Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.


• Proven experience (4+ years) specializing in successfully delivering web projects and DevOps for web technologies.


• Expertise in integration techniques, API management, and data migration.


• Profound expertise with Drupal CMS and related technology (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript), experience with other CMS is a plus.


• Expertise in frontend, backend technologies, and headless application design.


• Experience in Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) and CI/CD.


• Strong experience in software testing (test planning, test automation, and test case definition).


• Experience in the design and control of software testing guidelines, test planning, automation and test cases.


• Experience in the creation and maintenance of architecture documentation; including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.


• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS, IaaS and PaaS with a focus on hyperscalers and experience on AWS and container orchestration.


• Experience with mobile application development (PWA, cross-platform development, native mobile applications) will be considered a plus.
