Article Trainee - Taxation

As an Article Trainee in the Taxation team at AccuWiz, you will be involved in assisting the team with the execution of engagements across direct taxation, indirect taxation, and international taxation for clients across various sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, IT/ITeS, NGOs, Sports & Fitness, Education, and Trading. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the management of taxation compliances, including TDS filing, ITR filing, and GST return filings. - Aid in the preparation of replies to notices, assessment orders, and appeals to the tax department. - Provide support in tax structuring of corporates from both Indian and international tax perspectives. - Assist in preparing opinions on transactions from tax perspectives. - Support in tax due diligence, modeling of tax transactions, and tax restructuring. - Assist in enhancing the digital presence of the firm by preparing knowledge material for in-house and online circulations. Qualifications Required: - Both groups of CA intermediate qualified. - Completion of both mandatory trainings. - Stay updated with recent changes in compliances, laws, and regulations. - Strong team player with the ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach. - Good communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizing skills. - Ability to display initiative, lateral thinking, solve simple problems, and exhibit analytical thinking ability.
