Role Description

This is a full-time Article Trainee position specializing in GST at Nangia & Co LLP. The role is on-site and based in Chennai. The trainee will work on various GST-related tasks such as research and compliance, preparation of tax returns, and assisting senior professionals with GST audits and advisory assignments. The role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience, understand GST laws, and contribute to the firm’s projects while learning under industry experts.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of GST laws, taxation, and compliance processes
• Strong research and analytical skills to support GST advisory tasks and case studies
• Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and an eagerness to learn new technical systems
• Pursuing or having completed a recognized Chartered Accountancy course will be considered an advantage
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to adhere to deadlines
