Area Supply Manager

As an Area Supply Manager at Jio-bp, you will play a vital role in managing supply operations, optimizing fleet utilization, and coordinating logistics for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will be based in Ambala, Delhi, and Indore, overseeing the fleet management processes and optimization to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing a fleet of 25-50 vehicles at micro-market levels and overseeing 5-10 freight promoters. - On-boarding Freight Promoters and Owner-cum-drivers on the platform. - Driving operations metrics such as loading and unloading detention, PoD uploads, etc. - Training Freight Promoters in selling ancillary services. - Managing monthly billing of vendors and Freight Promoters and providing ad-hoc vehicles at lower-than mandi rates. - Ensuring 100% compliance with necessary documentation. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Strong experience and comprehensive understanding of fleet management processes and optimization. - Proven expertise in freight forwarding operations. - Hands-on knowledge in coordinating short and long-haul logistics operations. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and manage multiple vendors. - Experience in advanced route planning techniques. - Effective communication skills for seamless interaction with fleet operators, suppliers, and internal teams. - Analytical mindset for monitoring operational metrics and making data-driven decisions. - Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records related to fleet, freight, and logistics operations for audit and compliance purposes.
