Job Description Area Sales Manager Bakery Fats SSD Oil Mills Company Limited was incorporated in the year 1982 in Chennai. The Company was started as a cotton seed processing plant with refining of various Edible Oils. The Company , over a period of time has emerged as one of the leading edible oil and speciality fat manufacturer in both retail and the bakery industry under the Brand Name of "Supreme" and " Great Chef". The company is now looking at consolidating its operations in the existing geographies and expanding to unrepresented geographies rapidly in the next few years. In order to lead this expansion drive, the company is looking for dynamic Area Sales Managers for various geographies. Position: ASM (Area Sales Manager) Desired Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Desired Experience: 10+ years’ experience in FMCG sales with at least 2-3 years heading a state or half a state. The candidate should have a very strong track record of having delivered sales numbers and should have good geographic knowledge and connect with distributors. Ability to motivate and lead a team of frontline salesmen is of critical importance. Market and system orientation will be critical for this position. Location : Bangalore/UC Karnataka Job Profile: To identify distribution gaps and quickly plug them by appointing good distributors/traders Study and recommend a tight manpower plan to deliver the results Understand and take on the sales target and consistently deliver the same Recommend effective promotion plan to the NSM for consideration Lead and manage the team of frontline salesmen Manage distributors/traders Build strong relations with the bakers and the traders Demonstrate the products with the help of the chef Reporting: Will report to the head of sales Remuneration: Would not be a constraint for the right candidate.
