Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Performance & Target Achievement:

• Lead and manage the sales operations of a single Depot, ensuring the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets (volume and value).
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive growth in the territory.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary to meet business goals.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, setting clear objectives and expectations.

• Team Management & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of frontline sales personnel, ensuring optimal performance and development of team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to improve sales effectiveness.
• Build a strong, cohesive team with a focus on collaboration and achieving sales targets.

• Market Analysis & Competitor Tracking:

• Continuously monitor the local market landscape and competitor activities to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Provide insights to senior management regarding market changes and competitive strategies.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

• Distribution Network Expansion & Management:

• Identify opportunities for expanding the retail distribution network within the territory.
• Develop and implement effective distribution management schemes to maximize coverage and penetration.
• Ensure the optimal allocation and management of resources within the Depot.

• Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the organization, addressing their needs and concerns proactively.

Professional Qualifications:

• Essential:

• Bachelors degree (Graduate) + MBA (Marketing)

Experience Requirements:

• 10-12 years of hands-on experience in

  sales management
