Job Description: As an Area Sales Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, your role will be crucial in overseeing sales operations in the assigned territory. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales executives/medical representatives, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals, meeting sales targets, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and lead a team of sales executives/medical representatives effectively. - Achieve monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned area. - Develop and nurture relationships with doctors, medical stores, distributors, and super distributors. - Strategize and implement area-specific sales plans and promotional activities. - Keep a close eye on competitor activities and provide valuable market feedback to the management. - Ensure timely reporting and adherence to company policies. Qualifications & Requirements: - Graduation in Science/Pharmacy/Business (MBA preferred). - Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. - Possess strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. - Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned area.
