Job Description

Objective of the role To lead branch sales team, to achieve sales, margin & collection targets, driving performance management across sales teams, plan and achieve Segment wise sales at branch Level. Driving high level of engagement with the Key Customers, Applicators & Project distributors and also the technical community including Opinion makers for the longer-term strategic goals of the company To help RSM in roll-out of all training programs to Improve Knowledge and skills of sales team & applicators Key Areas of Responsibility ESSENTIAL Delivery of the branch sales budgets in accordance with approved budget plans. Delivery of the branch margin targets of projects in line with approved budget plan Achieve NIL overdue >10 days through appropriate credit review, trade agreements, and follow-ups with Customers through the sales teams including Debt Collectors. Develop and implement best practice in credit terms & debt recovery from customers Delivering sales & collection of key accounts in line with agreed budgets Ensure Portfolio selling across the branches & Maximise sales returns by using different channels to market (specification sales, project distributors, applicators, relationship sales etc.) Develop and implement best practice in sales contracts including discounts, warranties, & other such liabilities in the sales arena. Ensure that sales plans and objectives are integrated with supply chain and production plans through the SOP process. Implement HR procedures across the sales function to ensure that performance of all staff is managed and continuous review process is in place and rigorously carried out all levels. Delivery of the branch sales budgets in accordance with approved budget plans. Delivery of the branch margin targets of projects in line with approved budget plan SECONDARY Manage Branch office in coordination with RSM/HR/Finance & Enhance, build & maintain long term relationships with users / consultants and other influencers within the industry for enhancing product image and preferred partner status. Key Working Relationships Internal External RSM/NSM/GSM Customers, Stockists, Consultants, Contractors and Applicators Marketing/Production/QC/Technical/SOP Finance/HR/Purchase Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills/ Personal attributes ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE 1 10 years of working experience in projects. Knowledge of technical problems in construction Chemicals/Cement/Building Material Industries. 1 Having good relation in the industry. 2-3 years experience in the role of Area Sales Manager Education Qualification ESSENTIAL Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with 7-8 years of working experience in projects
