Area Sales Manager - Diagnostics

As a Channel Sales Manager at Avantor, you will be responsible for selling to new channel partners/distributors and cross/up/repeat sales to existing channel partners/distributors. Your role will involve maintaining existing relationships with organizations distributing products, services, and solutions. You will deliver product demonstrations, sales bids, and presentations to channel partners/distributors while managing the relationship with them effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve revenue targets and control expenses. - Collaborate with channel partners to drive specific opportunities. - Establish high-level customer and distributor relationships through technical and business skills, competencies, and situational fluency. - Understand current customer processes and applications and effectively communicate customer technology product requirements to internal stakeholders. - Utilize various communication and engagement methodologies including quarterly business reviews, executive meetings, and technical collaborations. - Ensure a targeted number of face-to-face key account interactions per week. - Foster effective employee relationships based on trust, teamwork, and accountability. - Perform other duties as assigned with or without accommodation. Qualifications Required: - Education: Science Graduates or Postgraduates / MBA are preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of IVD sales experience required.
