Area Sales Manager

AREA SALES MANAGER JOB ROLLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Regular Visits to Traders/Industrial market customers at proper Branch

location and as & when visited at Branches in the Division / Region for

Delivery Business Improvement.

2. Generation of new business through having continuous growth in customer

base for both Parcels and Full loads.

3. To ensure procurement of Booking business from all the Delivery customers

and Delivery Business from all the booking customers including Full loads.

4. Regular Interaction with C&F Agents, Dealers, Stockists, Traders Associations

like Cloth merchants, Textile merchants, hardware merchants etc., by having

an annual contract for a regular & long term business.

5. Development of Parcel Delivery Business by coordinating with Sales

Personnel & Branch In-charges, B. As and also Divisional Parcel Committees

and to obtain maximum RECOMMENDATION LETTERS from cutomers and

converting the same into business.

6. Weekly Sales activity report with Customer visits & New Business

Achievement during the week should be with a copy to Divisional Head &

DSM/Region Head & RSM.

7. Daily Interaction with local Delivery Department / Delivery Godown

in-charge, Satellite Branch In-charges towards business development from

Existing Customers, New customers and Lost Customers. &

Maintaining customer data and interaction with Customer Care personnel for

more business leads and materialization.

Any other Jobs entrusted by Seniors from time to time.
