Job Description – Sales Engineer (Pneumatic Automation Solutions)

Location: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka & Telangana (travel across assigned territory)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Head

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to promote and sell pneumatic automation solutions in the Southern India region. The role involves business development, technical consultation, and account management with industrial customers across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana.

Please Note: This position carries an initial 6-month probationary period. Confirmation of employment after probation will be based on the candidate’s sales performance, behavior within the company and with customers, and approach towards addressing assigned roles and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell pneumatic automation products and solutions, including:
  • Pneumatic Solenoid Valves
  • Pneumatic Cylinders
  • FRLs (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator)
  • Tubes, Fittings, and related accessories
  • Identify, engage, and develop business opportunities with OEMs, end-users, and distributors in the assigned region.
  • Provide technical consultation, demonstrations, and product recommendations to customers.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales turnover targets for the territory.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Submit sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
  • Participate in regional trade shows, seminars, and customer events to promote brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the technical support/service team for after-sales support and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of sales experience in pneumatic automation / industrial automation (experience with brands like Festo, SMC, Parker, Airtac, Janatics preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one local language (Telugu/Kannada) will be an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented individual.

Employment Terms

  • Probationary Period: 6 months. Employment confirmation will depend on:
  • Sales performance and achievement of targets
  • Professional behavior and conduct within the company and with customers
  • Proactiveness and approach in fulfilling assigned roles and responsibilities
  • Competitive salary + incentives/commissions based on performance.
  • Company support with travel allowance and marketing materials.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
