Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Distribution

Achieve
monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
for the Water category.
Drive
primary sales
with distributors and ensure healthy
secondary sales
from distributor to retail.
Ensure
numeric and weighted distribution
across General Trade, Modern Trade (if applicable), and institutional outlets.
Appoint new retailers and expand coverage as per beat plans.

Channel & Distributor Management

Manage assigned distributors to ensure:

Adequate stock availability (right SKU mix)
Timely billing and dispatch
Market outstanding and credit control

Conduct regular distributor reviews on sales, coverage, and stock.

Market Execution

Ensure
effective in-store execution
:

Visibility (chillers, racks, danglers, signage)
Correct pricing and scheme implementation
Product freshness and availability

Focus on
summer peak demand planning
and high-consumption outlets (canteens, offices, gyms, restaurants, events).

Trade Marketing & Promotions

Execute trade schemes, consumer promotions, and local activations.
Coordinate sampling, visibility drives, and seasonal promotions.
Provide market feedback on schemes, competition, and consumer insights.

Reporting & Compliance

Submit daily sales reports, market coverage reports, and distributor stock reports.
Track competitor activity, pricing, and new launches.
Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting systems.
