Job Objective

This role is responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of a geographically distributed sales team. The primary goal is to identify business opportunities, manage and support sales operations, and ensure profitability through strategic execution and resource management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the deployment of sales personnel across multiple locations, focusing on identifying high-potential markets and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Establish and manage strong relationships with channel partners to expand market reach and drive business growth.
  • Define clear productivity benchmarks for Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Sales Managers (SMs), monitor outcomes, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass business targets by implementing data-driven sales strategies.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and integrity within the sales organization to ensure sustainable growth and talent development.
  • Provide strategic insights to senior leadership by analyzing market dynamics, sales trends, and training requirements.
  • Design and execute regional promotional campaigns and incentive contests; recommend innovative marketing approaches to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Retain top talent through active engagement while managing underperformance with structured improvement plans or replacements.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment through effective employee engagement, coaching, development planning, and timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Risk Management teams to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve location-wise profitability.
