Area Manager-Product Development-Product Owner

As a Product Owner, your role involves collaborating with stakeholders such as Domain Leads (Ops, IT, Data Leads) to understand business needs and shape the vision and roadmap for data-driven initiatives aligned with strategic priorities. You will contribute to the development of the program vision and effectively communicate product and portfolio vision to your team. Key Responsibilities: - Work with data scientists, engineers, and designers to ensure efficient product development that meets user needs and provides actionable insights. - Analyze data sources, data technologies, and vendors to leverage in the development of the data product roadmap; Create ER diagrams, data models, PRD/BRD to convey requirements. - Develop and achieve product-level KPIs, managing data products with a moderate level of strategy, scope, and complexity. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security by establishing data governance frameworks, defining data quality standards, and implementing data management best practices for high data integrity. - Collaborate with technology and business leadership to align system/application integrations with business goals and resolve issues efficiently. - Own and maintain the product backlog, accountable for its contents and prioritization, ensuring clear and actionable user stories. - Set priorities, actively participate in quarterly planning, and collaborate with senior Product Owners to align priorities for program planning. - Set stakeholder expectations for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities, participating in demos, retrospectives, and other ceremonies. - Work daily with the agile working group, clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, and supporting alignment around the product strategy. - Monitor and maintain product health, supporting long-term viability and efficiency, balancing costs with desired outcomes. - Analyze and report on feasibility, cost implications, economies, or other aspects of planned changes to the product. - Understand regulatory and compliance constraints, prioritizing accordingly, and negotiate with internal and external teams for aligned priorities.
