Area Debt Manager-Flows-Credit Cards

As an Area Collection Manager for Credit Cards in the Retail Banking Collections department, your primary responsibility will be managing a team and coordinating operational recovery activities for the area credit portfolio in your assigned territory. You will be administering corporate policies and procedures to minimize front delinquencies. Working closely with the legal team, you will receive sound legal advice on managing delinquencies the company faces. Your role will include end-to-end collection responsibility for the allocated area, contributing to the larger organizational objectives of the bank and directly impacting financial budget planning. **Roles & Responsibilities:** **Primary Responsibilities:** - Handle collections for specific products in the assigned area - Ensure collection efficiency and cost effectiveness in the area - Track and control delinquency bucket-wise and DPD-wise, focusing on non-starters - Review account allocations and collections targets by bucket to agencies/in-house team - Regularly follow up with default customers through a dedicated team - Ensure collection agencies and executives adhere to legal guidelines - Monitor and fix productivity parameters for in-house/agencies/collection executives - Ensure adequate availability of resources area-wise/bucket-wise/segment-wise - Conduct detailed background checks on appointed agencies/DCTs - Collaborate with the legal team for legal actions on specified cases - Build relationships with key clients for timely collections - Determine suitable tactics or strategies for timely collections **Secondary Responsibilities:** - Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality in the area - Suggest improvements in processes and policies in Retail Banking for operational efficiencies and high-quality customer service - Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders **Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:** - Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in your reporting structure **Educational Qualifications:** - Graduate in any field - Post Graduate in any field **Experience:** - 8+ years of experience in collections (Note: No additional details of the company are provided in the job description),
