Job Description

Position: Area Business Manager (ABM)

Locations: Ludhiana, Kochi, Hyderabad, Indore, Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Gurugram

Division: Diabetes Products

CTC: 7.5 8 LPA

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) to achieve sales targets for diabetes products in the assigned territory.

* Ensure 8–10 doctor calls per day (mandatory) along with fieldwork to drive prescription generation.

* Develop and implement business strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, stockists, and chemists.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide regular feedback to the management

* Ensure timely reporting, adherence to compliance, and execution of marketing strategies.

* Conduct field coaching, joint working, and performance evaluations of team members.

Requirements

* Graduate / Postgraduate in Science or Pharmacy preferred.

* Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in Pharma Sales with at least 2–3 years in a first-line managerial role (ABM / Area Manager).

* Strong exposure to Diabetes / Cardio-Diabetic segment is mandatory.

* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
