Area Business Manager-Acquisition-Agri Business Group (ABG)-Marketing Branches Operations

As an Area Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Agri SME customers. You should possess acceptable knowledge of the respective geography and demonstrate the ability to quickly recruit team members. Your primary tasks will include understanding customers" business models, appraising financials, and identifying suitable new-to-bank (NTB) business opportunities for working capital (fund-based/non-fund-based) and term loan facilities in Agri food processing and MSME industries. Additionally, you must have a fair knowledge of balance sheets. An essential aspect of your role will be to cross-sell liability and other third-party products to newly onboarded customers. You will closely collaborate with the Credit and Risk function, legal and technical teams, RCAD, and GR/GTS team to ensure smooth customer onboarding and effective risk management. Furthermore, you will be required to work with internal bank channels and develop open market sourcing through Direct Marketing Associates (DMAs), Chartered Accountants (CAs), and financial consultants. Your ability to develop a network and channel in various business segments through associations and industry bodies, as well as warehouse managers, will be crucial for success in this role. Your responsibilities will also include improving efficiency by monitoring and suggesting process improvements based on ground reality and market trends. By staying informed about market dynamics and actively contributing to enhancing operational processes, you will play a key role in driving the business forward.,
