Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Post Graduate in Architecture Design (Furniture) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, technical proficiency, and an understanding of space planning, furniture systems, and material selection. You will work on concept design, detailed drawings, and visualization for our projects, ensuring design intent and functionality align with brand aesthetics and performance requirements.

Department / Division: Design & Development Location: Forbes Marshall, Pune Reports To: Design Lead / Senior Architect

Purpose of the Role:

To conceptualize, design, and develop innovative furniture and architectural layouts that reflect Forbes Marshalls design ethos—combining functionality, ergonomics, and visual appeal while ensuring alignment with sustainability and production feasibility.

2. Product & Material Detailing

3. Project Coordination

4. Visualization & Presentation

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for drafting and detailing.
Strong understanding of CarbocoCod and CarbocoPremium (preferred software).
Excellent sense of aesthetics, proportion, and detailing.
Good knowledge of materials, joinery, and furniture manufacturing processes.
Ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical and production-ready solutions.
Effective communication and presentation skills.

Qualification & Experience:

Post Graduate degree in Architecture / Interior / Furniture Design from a recognized institution.
1–3 years of experience in furniture or space design (internships can be considered).
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design capabilities.
