Job Description

Architect

Role & responsibilities

Conceptual & Schematic Design:

    • Develop creative architectural concepts, layouts, and massing studies for high-rise projects in alignment with client and management requirements.
    • Prepare feasibility studies and preliminary design presentations to support decision-making.

Design Development & Coordination:

    • Translate approved concepts into detailed design drawings and technical documentation.
    • Coordinate closely with

      structural, MEP, landscape, and interior teams

      to ensure design integrity and functional integration.
    • Review and incorporate technical inputs from consultants and contractors.

Construction Documentation:

    • Prepare detailed working drawings, sections, and elevations for execution.
    • Develop faade and finishing details in accordance with approved materials and specifications.
    • Ensure timely issuance and version control of drawings to the site team.

Regulatory Approvals & Compliance:

    • Prepare and submit drawings for statutory approvals (e.g., Building Plan, Fire NOC, Environmental Clearance, Airport Authority, etc.).
    • Ensure all designs comply with

      NBC norms, local building bye-laws, fire safety, and green building standards

      .

Site Coordination & Execution Support:

    • Conduct periodic site visits to verify design implementation and resolve architectural issues.
    • Issue clarifications and revision drawings when required to support the construction team.
    • Ensure adherence to design quality, materials, and finishing standards.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

    • Participate in design presentations and meetings with management, consultants, and clients.
    • Integrate feedback and provide design solutions aligned with project goals and timelines.

Value Engineering & Material Selection:

    • Identify cost-effective design solutions without compromising aesthetics or quality.
    • Collaborate with procurement and vendors on material selection and technical evaluation

Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and correspondence.
    • Prepare periodic design progress reports, coordination notes, and documentation for management review.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution; M.Arch preferred.

2. Hands-on experience in architectural design and execution of high-rise buildings.

3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and MS Office Suite.

4. Strong knowledge of construction detailing, building codes, and materials.

5. Excellent visualization, presentation, and communication skills.

6. Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is mandatory
