Architect

Job Summary

An Architect is responsible for the design and construction of buildings and other structures. This role involves managing projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring that all designs are functional, safe, aesthetically pleasing, and meet the client's needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative vision, excellent technical skills, and a deep understanding of building codes, construction processes, and materials.

Core Responsibilities

Design and Planning:

• Consult with clients to understand their needs, goals, and budget for a project.
• Develop design concepts, creating sketches, models, and renderings to present ideas.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.

Project Management:

• Oversee projects from start to finish, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with a wide range of professionals, including engineers, interior designers, contractors, and landscape architects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure the work adheres to the design plans and quality standards.
• Address any design or construction issues that arise during the building process, providing timely solutions.

Documentation and Administration:

• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for building permits and approvals.
• Write reports, contracts, and other professional documents.
• Maintain detailed records of all project activities, decisions, and communications.
• Manage bid proposals and negotiations with contractors and suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Certification:

• A professional degree in Architecture (e.g., Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture).
• A valid state or national architectural license is typically required.

Experience:

• Proven experience working as an Architect, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Experience in a specific sector (e.g., residential, commercial, public) is often preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in architectural software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling/rendering tools (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max).
• Strong knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) processes is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign) for presentations and visualizations.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional creativity and a strong visual sense.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
