Architect

Architects plan and design buildings, and ensure that they are safe, functional, and meet the needs of the public. They work on new builds, renovations, and building expansions.  Responsibilities Planning and design: Create detailed plans, including specifications, sketches, and drawings  Client consultation: Discuss ideas, costs, timelines, and materials with clients  Construction: Manage construction projects, including supervising construction and visiting sites to check on progress  Safety and regulations: Ensure that plans meet building codes, safety regulations, and budgets  Collaboration: Work with engineers and contractors to develop concepts and meet project goals  Technical advice: Provide technical and aesthetic advice on the design of infrastructures  Costing: Estimate costs and budgets for investors  Contract management: Manage contracts  Architects need to have a combination of architectural expertise and communication skills. They are involved at every phase of a project, from initial planning to the final construction.
