We’re Hiring: Apprentice Trainee (Operator)
👨🏭 Department: Production | 🧭 Reporting To: Shift Leader / Production Supervisor
Avery Dennison is looking for enthusiastic Apprentice Trainees to join our Production team. This is a structured, hands-on learning role designed to build strong fundamentals in machine operation, quality control, safety, and production processes.
🔧 What You Will Learn
· Machine set-up, cleaning, and basic inspection
· Supporting slitting & offline machine operations
· Tooling assistance (knives, Allen keys, felts, etc.)
· Monitoring machine parameters & handling materials
· In-process quality checks & final inspection
· Proper labeling, documentation & data entry (E-Log/SCADA)
· Safety, housekeeping, roll movement & packing support
🎯 Qualification
Education (Mandatory): Diploma in
✔ Mechatronics
✔ Mechanical
✔ Electrical & Instrumentation
Requirements:
· Minimum height: 5.5 ft
· Physically fit & medically clear
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to read/write English
· Mechanical aptitude & willingness to learn
· Ready to work in shifts and perform physical tasks
