About Synapse Child Development Centre

Synapse CDC is a multidisciplinary centre providing evidence-based evaluation, therapy, and early intervention services for children with neurodevelopmental conditions. We follow child-centred, structured, and outcome-driven therapeutic models with a focus on Autism, ADHD, speech-language delays, learning issues, and behaviour concerns.

Job Role & Responsibilities

The ABA Therapist will work under the supervision of a Child Psychiatrist/BCBA/Program Lead to deliver individualized ABA sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions for children (2–12 years).
• Implement individualized behaviour intervention plans (BIP).
• Teach communication, social, academic, self-help, and play skills using ABA techniques.
• Collect and document session data accurately.
• Participate in assessments, goal-setting, and progress review meetings.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapy environment.
• Collaborate with parents for home-based behaviour strategies.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and regular training.

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology / Special Education / Child Development / Behaviour Science or related fields.
• Prior experience in working with children with Autism or developmental delays.
• Basic understanding of ABA principles (positive reinforcement, prompting, shaping, etc.).

Preferred

• Certified RBT / ABA training (not mandatory but an advantage).
• Experience in Early Intervention setup.
• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Ability to follow structured intervention plans.
• Good observation and analytical skills.
• Teamwork and openness to training.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and engage in floor-based activities.

Work Hours & Salary

• Timing: Full-time (2 pm – 8 pm) or Part-time options.
• Salary: Based on qualification, experience, and performance incentives.
