Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot software problems, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently, and implementing solutions to enhance system performance. You will engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely resolutions to any technical challenges they face, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Write clean, testable, and efficient code using the Java programming language. - Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications. - Learn and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for application support. - Document and maintain records of issues and resolutions to improve future troubleshooting efforts. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition. - Strong understanding of application support processes and methodologies. - Experience with debugging and troubleshooting software applications. - Familiarity with database management and SQL. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3+ years of experience in Java Standard Edition. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
