Application Security Engineer

Role Overview: As an Application Security Engineer at UElement, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, performing code reviews, and implementing security best practices. Your role will also involve monitoring security alerts, collaborating with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, and staying updated on the latest security threats and technologies. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Pune with work-from-home flexibility. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities - Conduct security assessments - Perform code reviews - Implement security best practices - Monitor security alerts - Collaborate with development teams for security integration - Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies Qualifications: - Experience with security assessments and vulnerability mitigation - Skills in conducting code reviews and implementing security best practices - 3 years of experience with Black Duck or Snyk tool - Knowledge of application security frameworks and tools - Familiarity with software development lifecycle and security integration - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus,
