Responsibilities

You will provide Application Production support on our regional exchange middleware platforms providing critical services to all our entities in Asia. These platforms are based on:

Tibco BusinessWorks

Apigee API Gateway

• Providing technical and functional support to users:
• Providing technical and functional support to users
• Managing incidents within the scope of reporting
• Guaranteeing the eradication of problems
• Ensuring the proper management of application access by following the recommendations applicable to its scope
• Implementing monitoring and supervise the applications technical and functional components:
• Implementing the system and parameters used to monitor its scope
• Monitoring the smooth implementation of processing according to the production plan
• Checking the functional and technical quality of the interfaces / transfers between applications
• Monitoring the condition of the applications technical components
• Checking the proper running of application backups and restoration
• Orchestrating and managing the various releases within his/her scope

Creating and enriching the application document framework. Maintaining operating procedures:

• Providing analysis and measuring, analysing and improving the performance of the applications technical and functional components in order to improve the user experience
• Realising the technical integration of applications based on existing products and services in order to reduce implementation times

• Contributing to the processes belonging to the activity, observing the requirements and carrying out the necessary remediation
• Contributing to the construction of production dashboards and undertaking the actions defined for improving the service
• Contribute to continuous improvement actions

Primary skillsets (mandatory):

• Proficient in ITIL Operation Methodology with strong analytical skills and Proven work experience.
• Tibco middleware ESB/EMS queue / Apache webserver
• Experience in providing 24x7 support for critical servers, Availability, Performance, Monitoring, Incident response, Preparation, Change management and Capacity management
• Operation Excellence on Redhat, Windows servers
• Vulnerability remediation for LINUX servers and Windows servers
• Knowledge on configuration management, monitoring, continuous Integration tools on UNIX and windows platforms;
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience working with ServiceNow Ticket Tool

Secondary skill sets (good to have):

• Automation of deployment, customization, upgrades and monitoring
• Self-starter with a proactive approach and a problem-solving mindset, capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

Proven working Experience with the Technology below:

Script: Powershell , Unix shell scripting and crontab

Monitoring: Dynatrace
