We are seeking an experienced and proactive Application Lead Developer with deep expertise in Node.js to lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate will act as both a hands-on developer and a
technical leader, guiding a team of engineers in building reliable and efficient systems.
•5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js and JavaScript.
•Lead end-to-end backend architecture and development using Node.js and related technologies.
•Lead end-to-end backend architecture and development using Node.js and related technologies.
•Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
•Develop long-term relationships, not just transactions-engage regularly and meaningfully with customers.
•Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
•Strong proficiency in Fastify framework or comparable experience with Express.js and willingness to learn Fastify.
•Solid understanding of Redis for caching, pub/sub, or job queuing.
•Strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL and query optimization.
•Experience integrating and working with API Gateways (e.g., AWS API Gateway,NGINX).
•Experience with centralized logging using Elastic Logs / ELK stack.
•Experience with application deployment on Virtual Machines (VMs), including Linux-based environments.
•Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, authorization, and versioning.
•Familiarity with Git,CI/CD pipelines,and containerization(basic
Docker understanding is a plus).
