Application Engineer - Automation

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical interface for customers, ensuring smooth product integration, addressing technical challenges, and supporting both sales and engineering functions. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and hands-on technical expertise to manage projects and deliver superior customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

● Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and providing post-sales support.

● Diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot complex application problems to optimize system performance and ensure overall stability.

● Translate customer requirements into manufacturable designs, assist in developing cost models, and support the sales process from inquiry to delivery.

● Manage technical aspects of projects and lead technical reviews such as DVP&R and FMEA to ensure successful execution.

● Document all customer interactions, project updates, workflow diagrams, and application evaluations accurately.

● Collaborate closely with product development, sales teams, and other engineers to provide technical feedback and drive innovation.

● Comply with corporate engineering processes and support the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related field).

● Experience related to the relevant industry or product line (e.g., Servo and stepper motors, PLC, SCADA,HMI, Pneumatics, automation projects).

● Proficiency with CAD software.

● Programming skills as required based on the role’s focus.

● Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO-9001.

● Knowledge of COTS in Machinery Automation

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

● Strong customer service orientation and collaboration skills.

● Strong organization and time management capabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
