CAD Designer Mechanical

As a CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team by creating accurate 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and manufacturing schematics based on engineering specifications. Your responsibilities will include developing precise technical drawings, collaborating with engineers and project managers, ensuring design objectives are met, and delivering high-quality drawing packages within established deadlines. Additionally, you will participate in design review meetings, conduct quality checks on drawings and models, and maintain organized project documentation. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical 2D drafting, a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration. Attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines are essential. A Diploma or Certification in Mechanical Drafting or CAD Technology is preferred, along with hands-on experience in mechanical manufacturing processes and familiarity with additional CAD tools like SolidWorks or Inventor. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment alongside cross-functional teams in design and manufacturing. Occasional visits to shop floors or vendor locations may be required for design validations and clarifications. This is a full-time position in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, with benefits including provided food, paid sick time, and a day shift schedule. Performance bonuses are also available.
