Goals And Objectives
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Provide Aftermarket support to channel partners, distributors and end customers.
- Select replacement equipment/Spare-parts to meet customer needs and provide pricing.
- Provide field support offering for commissioning and troubleshooting on complex / critical applications.
- Generates customer proposals utilizing standard tools, seeks and gains appropriate approval levels
- Administers and reviews submittal documents / Service documents that have been prepared for customers and/or tenders
- Collaborate with other technical and engineering groups, Field service teams and Product managers to provide the required customer solution.
- Provide timely responses to inquiries.
- Capable of training channel partners and stakeholders on aftermarket product support, enabling them to address more opportunities and thereby enhance customer satisfaction.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with key stakeholders within all of Xylem’s commercial teams.
Must Have
- Knowledge of pump hydraulics, mechanics and construction.
- Knowledge of Motors, Drives and monitoring and control equipment.
- Familiarity with international standards, codes, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively in customer-facing settings.
Good To Have
- Understanding of Pump / system station design, schematic diagram and hydraulic calculations.
- Ability to build relationships and to influence key stakeholders without having a direct supervisory relationship
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently with initiative in a fast-paced environment
- High-level of proficiency with MS Office applications.
Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering in Mechanical field from a recognized university.
- 0 to 3 years+ related experience with rotating equipment preferred.
