Application Analyst

As a Technical Support Specialist at Information Systems Associates - Sharjah (ISA-SHJ), your primary role will be to provide support services to end users through various channels. You will troubleshoot and remediate issues affecting the technology infrastructure to ensure smooth business operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and monitoring computer systems and networks for clients, ensuring productivity aligns with clients" policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include driving the technical support team to provide prompt customer support, monitoring servers and systems, taking ownership of reported issues, and ensuring that problems are recorded and tracked throughout the resolution process. You will also maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, business users, suppliers, and technical teams to enhance products and services for ISA clients. Furthermore, you will provide technical and non-technical support to clients by analyzing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting system and network issues. You will identify resolutions to technical problems, carry out bug fixes, apply patches, and escalate unresolved issues as needed. Your role will also involve assisting in the development and implementation of processes, service level agreements, and new technology planning. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. ITIL certification is preferred but not mandatory. Fluency in English language is required. You should have 5-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure support service desk operations, preferably in the aviation industry. Additionally, you should possess proven skills in implementing and monitoring infrastructure projects, bug fixes, and basic knowledge in Java, Unix, SQL, and Webservices. Your holistic IT knowledge in heterogeneous technology environments, experience in managing operations and technology platforms, and ability to analyze data and recommend solutions will be valuable assets in this role. Occasional duty travel may be required for training and implementation purposes. Being available for 24x7 support and working in shifts based on team requirements are essential aspects of this position.
