Appian Architect

As an Appian Architect with over 10 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 3 years in Appian architecture, your role will involve: - Building and supporting applications using Appian - Creating architectural designs for lightly coupled suites of applications to individual features - Leading end-to-end technical design, development, stabilization, and enhancement of Appian applications - Designing data models, SQL Queries, and/or Stored Procedures - Participating in technical and operations reviews to share knowledge with teammates - Organizing and tracking progress while maintaining documentation using Document repositories - Developing and sharing reusable components Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of total IT experience with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in Appian architecture - Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements - Working on enhancements and change requests from LOB - Collaborating with and mentoring junior resources - Working independently on tasks - Adhering to, conducting, and participating in standard agile processes - Willingness to provide support after office hours if needed - Following release management code deployment processes to migrate code changes Desired skills for this position include: - An Engineering degree or a Degree in IT/Computer Applications - Very good knowledge in Software Development - Extensive knowledge in Agile methodologies and Management tools like QC and JIRA - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Work exposure in Agile projects with a good understanding of Agile ceremonies and tools like JIRA - Strong communication skills and the capability to deal with business and Global counterparts independently - Attitude to learn new technologies and work on new projects - Flexibility to handle ad hoc requests and agile projects Additionally, the company operates in the insurance domain.,
