· Designing and developing apps for the Android ecosystem
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
· Work with outside data sources and APIs
· Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
· Solid understanding of common programming tools and paradigms, such as version control, use of frameworks, and common design patterns.
· Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
· Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
· Knowledge of mobile device emerging technologies including Smartphone LTE architectures, camera/video.
· Should have hands on experience on NFC and BLE technology (at least 1 project end to end)
· Working knowledge in IoT based mobile app software development is highly preferred
· Should poses expertise in Android development environment and tooling (Android Studio, Memory profiling,etc)
· Should demonstrate competency in implementing, debugging and validating software solutions.
