Business & Finance Anchor

Key Responsibilities

• Anchor & Host:

  Serve as the on-screen host for business and finance-focused IP, interviews, and digital content.

• Guest Interviews:

  Conduct insightful interviews with finance professionals, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and subject matter experts.

• Content Creation:

  Develop engaging video concepts, questionnaires, and scripts on business, economy, personal finance, and market trends.

• Research:

  Stay updated with current affairs, financial markets, and business news to ensure accuracy and relevance in content.

• Production Oversight:

  Work closely with video editors and the production team to ensure high-quality output. Provide creative direction during shoots and in post-production.

• YouTube & Digital Strategy:

  Collaborate on strategies for growing the channel, including short-form content (YouTube Shorts, Reels).

• Content Expansion:

  Conceptualize and host new IPs, explainers, and talk shows in the finance/business domain.

• Ownership:

  End-to-end management of shows and interviews — from ideation to execution.

Key Requirements

• Experience:

  Minimum 5+ years in anchoring/hosting business, finance shows (digital, TV, or podcasts).

• Finance & Business Knowledge:

  Strong understanding of finance, markets, business trends, and economic topics.

• Communication Skills:

  Excellent command of English (Hindi proficiency is a plus). Ability to simplify complex finance topics for a wide audience.

• Presentation & Storytelling:

  Skilled in creating engaging narratives around business & finance themes.

• Creative Leadership:

  Ability to conceptualize new shows, formats, and IPs in the business/finance space.

• Editing Awareness:

  Basic knowledge of video editing and production workflows to collaborate effectively with editors.

• Digital-First Approach:

  Familiarity with YouTube trends, algorithms, and short-form content strategies.

• Team Collaboration:

  Experience working in creative teams and mentoring junior staff/interns.

• Networking Ability:

  Comfort in engaging with senior professionals, entrepreneurs, and finance leaders for interviews.
