Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant at the University of Southampton, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Faculty of Medicine, specifically the Centre for Learning Anatomical Sciences (CLAS) within the Department of Medical Education. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing administrative support for the University's body donation programme, demonstrating a strong customer focus. - Acting as a key contact for individuals, their next of kin, and medical professionals discussing end-of-life plans. - Managing diaries efficiently, organizing meetings, travel arrangements, and events. - Upholding a keen eye for detail, adapting to a flexible attitude, and possessing excellent IT and interpersonal skills. - Committing to delivering exceptional customer service, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - Previous experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment. - Strong diary management skills and experience in servicing meetings. - Excellent IT skills and interpersonal communication abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic work environment.
