Description
As an Analytics Analyst at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India, you will be responsible for performing general analytics and statistical modelling to address current and future business needs. Your work will involve defining data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modelling, visualisation, and developing analytical toolkits and research techniques. You will examine data patterns and trends to answer business questions, improve decision-making, increase efficiency, and automate data analysis processes. Your role will also involve providing data insights to business functions to help them achieve their strategic goals. If your focus is on Data Science, your work will primarily revolve around creating data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reports, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. You will research and apply knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions. Additionally, you may represent the bank as a data science practitioner in industry initiatives. At higher career levels, you may conduct scientific research projects to break new ground in data analytics. In this role, you will design, develop, conduct unit testing, and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use. You will provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation, determining the best implementation that aligns with the architect's design. Collaborating with team members, you will create useful reports and dashboards that provide insights, improve processes, automate tasks, and add value to the team. It is essential to ensure consistency by adhering to software coding and style guides and resolve support tickets related to Tableau reports. To excel in this position, you should have proven experience in developing and working on Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics. You must be able to query and display large data sets efficiently while interpreting technical structures and translating complex business requirements into technical specifications. Proficiency in Tableau administration/architecture, advanced Tableau development skills, high-level competency in Excel, understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions, knowledge of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, experience in Alteryx and Python, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are crucial.
