Description
Role Overview: As a member of the Trust & Safety team at Google, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing the biggest challenges related to the safety and integrity of Google products. Your role will involve using technical expertise, problem-solving skills, user insights, and effective communication to protect users and partners from abuse across various Google products such as Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. You will work collaboratively with Google engineers and product managers on a global scale to detect and combat abuse and fraud cases with a sense of urgency, ultimately contributing to promoting trust in Google and ensuring user safety. Key Responsibilities: - Establish metrics to benchmark Generative-AI issues and measure improvements - Develop datasets and conduct evaluations for engineers to enhance Search, Labs, and Assistant products - Utilize technical knowledge to drive project delivery, challenge proposals, and identify risks - Review graphic, controversial, and potentially sensitive content as part of the role - Enhance tools through data analysis, technical expertise, and presentations to key stakeholders - Improve operational workflows through process enhancements and identification of automation opportunities - Analyze and troubleshoot escalations, identifying trends that may indicate product risks - Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity within tight timelines - Collaborate with other teams and functions across the organization Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree - Experience with machine learning - Proficiency in SQL, dashboard building, data collection/transformation, visualization, scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python) - Familiarity with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing - Experience in analyzing ML models performance or working on LLMs - Experience in addressing abuse, spam, fraud, or malware, and conducting product policy analysis - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels - Passion for problem-solving, strategic thinking, and promoting user trust and safety.,
