Analyst - Software Engineer

You will be responsible for learning the existing code, coding, and documentation standards to extend the core product components without breaking backwards compatibility. Your tasks will involve designing, developing, unit testing, documenting, and analyzing modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products. You will play a crucial role in deciding what, why, and how features are built, working closely with a small team to rapidly iterate towards the best possible solutions. Additionally, you will take charge of making key product decisions across the platform and own large product surface areas, not just features. Communication with team members and following best practices, guidelines, and blueprints for the team will be essential. Furthermore, you will have technical ownership of one or more modules and collaborate with leads, managers, and architects in the delivery process. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in software development using modern front-end frameworks. Proficiency in Node.js and React for the front-end is required, as well as initial knowledge of PHP and its security standards. You should be comfortable with building products from scratch and scaling them, along with experience working with databases such as MongoDB, SQL, and MySQL. An entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to wear multiple hats, and adaptability to a fast-paced, collaborative environment are also essential for this position.,
