Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Analyst on the Global Business Growth & Automation (GBGA) team at Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in measuring the impact of GBGA initiatives on the broader Salesforce business. Your work will directly influence thousands of Salesforce employees, contributing to the success of customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide data-driven decision support to partner stakeholders, ensuring that development efforts are directed towards the most impactful areas. You will collaborate with business leaders to define, benchmark, and visualize key process and outcome measures for their teams. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business use cases deeply and translate them into scalable data solutions and actionable insights. - Design and build robust, reusable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using modern data tools. - Construct, optimize, and document complex SQL queries and data transformations for maintainability and performance. - Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable data models aligned with best practices. - Proactively apply data science models to find business value and anticipate future questions with data resources. - Create trusted, easily understood, and aesthetically pleasing data artifacts. - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, adapting messages for technical and non-technical audiences. Qualification Required: - 4+ years of experience in data engineering/analysis or related roles with a passion for solving business problems using data. - Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, ETL/ELT tools/techniques, and advanced data modeling. - Understanding of end-to-end data development, including data model design, quality review, deployment, audits, and maintenance. - Familiarity with statistics and machine learning methods, with curiosity in applying data science techniques to find business value. - Stay updated on trends in data analytics, AI, and potential applications for business value. - Ability to ask the right questions, rationalize business value, and collaborate effectively with peers. - Adaptability to evolving environments and effective communication with cross-functional and global stakeholders. - Good to have: Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, and the lead-to-cash process.,
